New Year, new start!

I came across a friend's blog the other day and thought it was a brilliant way to keep everyone up to date with our news, as well as providing a 'diary' to look back on. My intention is to post weekly (or once every 2 weeks, if life is boring) so come and visit occasionally and you can even submit your own comments.

We had a wonderful holiday in SA and I can truely say that Amy blossomed. She bonded so well with everyone and made herself at home in a flash. We had a great family week in Knysna and really fell in love with the area all over again. Christmas was very exciting for Amy, the only problem being nobody got to open any of their own pressies as she delegated the job of 'chief-unwrapper' to herself. Never mind, maybe the concept will be clearer to her next year. The trip went far too quickly of course and the end of 2006 saw our trip back to Bermuda.
We saw in the New Year somewhere over Africa. Amy had an exceptionally good flight and slept for 12 hours. Finally after 32 hours of travel we arrived back in Bermuda to gorgeous weather, it hardly seems like January. We have been mostly at home since then (with the exception of going to work) recovering from jetlag and colds. Lets hope I have more to report on next week!

Amy had lots of fun with her Grandparents in SA! Is that a zoo biscuit I see, gogo?
